Our Consortium: ImagiSANCO
We created the ImagiSANCO consortium to respond in an integrated way to the DG SANCO specific needs of Lot 3. The consortium members, Imagina, JTA, Eurodata TV are renowned and leading European specialists in their field and together cover the entire audiovisual communication value chain: from concept development, production, post-production, dissemination, impact measurement to media training. The consortium addresses the whole range of audiovisual services: News based formats such as reports and video news releases as well as feature based formats such as documentaries, movies, animated films and promotional clips in any possible form of distribution.
Based in 3 different EU Member States the consortium has a proven record of interventions in all Member States and count on a wide range of collaborating entities all over Europe.
Our knowledge and experience of European Commission communication requirements and more specifically of DG SANCO projects and initiatives allows us to develop tailored and cutting-edge audiovisual services and implement them Europe-wide. All services will be provided on a case by case basis according to the specific requests formulated by the DG SANCO and will always propose the most adequate solution within our consortium.
Our consortium has its own in-house capacity for all services required by DG SANCO covering audiovisual production, measuring media coverage and media training.
Our staff has an excellent knowledge of the European Commission context, as well as the technical skills in all the required areas.
IMAGINA
IMAGINA is one of the leading European companies operating in the communications industry with more than 3,500 employees and €940 million euros annual turnover. It has all of the technical and creative personnel necessary to set up, produce and broadcast any type of audiovisual product. Among others, IMAGINA currently employs 165 script writers, 126 directors, 561 journalists and reporters, 543 producers and well over 1.500 technical personnel.
IMAGINA provides a whole range of different services in the audiovisual contents production sector and in content rights management. It also offers consultancy services related to audiovisual creation, design and production of themed channels covering a wide range of different formats and genres. It has the necessary in-house camera equipment and outside broadcast units to cover and broadcast any type of major event. It also has teams of reporters to cover unexpected news, the creativity to design advertisements or the new look of an entire TV channel. Each year IMAGINA covers over 2.000 productions with its fleet of broadcasting vans.
IMAGINA owns and operates 'La Sexta', a national TV channel in Spain and produces another 11 TV channels in Europe, Latin America and the US.
Offering a one-stop-shop, providing input right from start in the development of the initial idea to results analysis for television programmes and films, as well as documentaries and website set-up, companies within the IMAGINA group offer the complete range of services required to establish the very best communication with clients and audience, and personnel capable of providing proven solutions in a variety of areas. One of IMAGINA's most recent productions, the Woody Allen movie 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' won an Academy Award in February 2009.

'Eurodata TV Worldwide', the international databank of results of TV programmes and audiences that was created 20 years ago, now covers over 2,000 networks in over 80 countries and territories. Eurodata TV Worldwide is the international TV audience research and market intelligence department of Médiamétrie Group. It offers to TV and cinema professionals from all over the world a unique custom made marketing and sales support service based on international TV audience ratings research.
'Eurodata TV Worldwide' also specialises in tracking and monitoring of new TV content & program development. 'Eurodata TV Worldwide' regularly extends to all the countries equipped with an audience measurement system. In each country, the information comes directly from the national research institute measuring the television audience for the leaders in its market.
Médiamétrie Group was set up in 1985 to meet the new requirements arising as a result of the transformation of the broadcast media environment: The combination, within a single entity, of representatives of radio and television networks, advertising agencies and ad-sales houses, rapidly contributed to the company's success and the development of indispensable and effective survey instruments, that would make it possible to measure the emergence of new stations and/or channels and the progress of leaders.
